Overlord Show 2025 – Charity Announcement

We’re proud to share some exciting news as we look ahead to this year’s Overlord Show.

“I’m very pleased to announce that Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) has been chosen as our headline charity for this year’s Overlord Show…

As a locally based organisation doing vital work to support veterans and their families, we felt it was only right to shine a spotlight on them this year. The Overlord Show has always been about honouring and supporting those who have served, and the work VOS does—especially in the areas of mental health and wellbeing—is incredibly important…

We’re proud to support such a worthy cause and look forward to welcoming them to the show.”

Cori Haws, Chairman, Solent Overlord Executive Military Club.

* OS also supports other local charities through the successful delivery of our military show. Last year, we raised £11,000 for charities throughout Hampshire.

Veterans Outreach Support

Have you ever served in the British Armed Forces or Merchant Navy?

Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) is a local, award-winning charity that offers UK Armed Forces and Merchant Navy veterans, their partners and carers welfare, wellbeing and mental health support in Portsmouth, Gosport, Fareham, Isle of Wight and across Hampshire.

We provide a Drop-In model of support, a welfare advice service, a range of peer-supported wellbeing activities and social groups, and access to mental health support – including psychology, psychiatry, and therapy services.

Our regular Drop-ins in Portsmouth and Isle of Wight provide a welcoming and relaxed environment where visitors can come along (no appointment needed), to meet other VOS members or chat to our friendly team of staff and volunteers. They can also meet representatives from partner organisations for advice and support.

VOS is also the Portfolio Lead Organisation for the South East of England in the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Fund’s (AFCFT) Thrive Together programme aimed at further developing networks of support for veterans, their families, and carers across the South East of England.
